Operation Ollie
One Little Ollie. One Child. One Moment of Comfort.
Sometimes, the smallest act of kindness makes the biggest difference.
Operation Ollie was created with one simple mission:
To provide a handmade Ollie Octopus to children experiencing crisis, trauma, or overwhelming moments, reminding them that they are loved, safe, and never alone.
Each Ollie is crocheted by hand and donated to local sheriff precincts and community partners, where first responders can place one into the hands of a child during difficult situations.
Whether it's a house fire, car accident, domestic violence call, medical emergency, or another traumatic event, one little Ollie can become something familiar to hold onto when everything else feels uncertain.
Ollie is more than a stuffed octopus.
He's a reminder that kindness still exists. He becomes a quiet companion
during scary moments—a comforting friend a child can hug while adults work around them.
No child should have to face fear alone. Operation Ollie is completely community funded.
